Dean Ambrose Being Rewarded With Final WWE Run Before Departure From Company

WWE Superstar Dean Ambrose is still planning on leaving the company once his contract expires next month, and WWE has been very open and has repeatedly acknowledged this on TV and during last night’s Fastlane PPV, which is far different from how they have handled Superstar departures in the past.

Dean Ambrose was in the middle of a push of sorts as a heel when the news broke that he intended on leaving the company once his contract is up, and for the most part his push remained in tact (despite a sudden babyface turn out of the blue). The reason that Dean’s push didn’t cease is apparently because WWE is rewarding him for the professionalism in which he has handled his planned departure.

According to a report from PWTorch’s Tom Colohue, WWE still believes that they have a chance to change Ambrose’s mind about leaving, and that this final run is a reward for being so professional about his impending exit from the company.

“#WWE still believe that they can change his mind but this whole “last tour” is due to certain assurances they have been given about his next steps.

WWE have no issue with people running down their contracts. This is his reward for being professional in their eyes. #WWEFastlane”

It has been previously reported that WWE is trying to convince Dean Ambrose to re-sign and remain with the company, despite his intentions to leave, and it appears they are still actively trying to do so.
