Elimination Chamber is done with and the effects are still being felt. However, things might have been different for the main event.
Mike Johnson noted on the latest audio update of PW Insider Elite that the Women’s Elimination Chamber match was going to be the actual main event and close out the show. However, Vince McMahon changed his mind.
“At one point this was going to close the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. Vince McMahon, you know there was a push to have the men close instead and I was told that all starts with Vince and comes down from Vince because Vince makes the last call on everything.”
In the end, all that matters is what Vince McMahon thinks. He runs the show, he has the last say in everything.
