ROH/NJPW Madison Square Garden Show Might Have Less Of A Fan Turnout Than Expected

When The Elite were still members of the ROH roster and hot off the heels of All In, ROH decided to capitalize on the momentum and throw a show at the worlds most famous arena, Madison Square Garden. They requested to do a joint show with New Japan Pro Wrestling and the event quickly sold out.

The problem here is that five of the biggest names in both companies are no longer with said companies. Cody, The Young Bucks, Hangman Page and Kenny Omega were all thought to be featured on the card for most fans that bought tickets.

A fan on Twitter happened to check Stub Hub for tickets to the event and noticed something rather shocking.

To put it in perspective @MrJacobCohen shows what NXT:Takeover Dallas and AEW’s Double or Nothing tickets on Stub Hub looks like.

Ring of Honor has 4,000 tickets with the lowest price being $60, NXT has 271 with the lowest price being around $90 and AEW has almost 2,000 tickets with the cheapest price being around $60.

Just because tickets are sold, doesn’t mean those people are still going to show up. I would venture a guess that this is bad news for ROH/NJPW.
