It has previously been reported that former WWE Superstar Batista has been in talks with All Elite Wrestling about potentially joining the company.
Batista spent the day today hanging out with former WWE Superstar and now AEW Superstar Chris Jericho, which has added more fuel to speculation that we might potentially see The Animal wrestling for All Elite Wrestling. Jericho posted a photo on his instagram account earlier today of himself and Batista, with a caption saying that the two had a great chat and ate lunch earlier in the day.
Jericho said:
“Killer hang with my bro @davebautista today! Had a great chat and some amazing @4riverssmokehouse! #AnimalAndGOAT #alphahouse #lionsden”
As we have also reported Batista has been in talks with WWE as well about a potential return and possible spot at WrestleMania. Batista is said to have been in Connecticut last week meeting with WWE Officials, as well.
While it looks like Batista might be in the middle of a another bidding war between WWE and AEW, one that for sure is that landing the former WWE Superstar to a contract would be a huge grab for All Elite Wrestling.
