There have been rumors of a potential Wrestlemania match between AJ Styles and Randy Orton. Those two have faced off against each other before, but never on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
They faced two years ago to challenge the then WWE Champion Bray Wyatt to a match at Wrestlemania, where Randy won the match. They haven’t had any interactions ever since, but that seems to have changed.
Randy Orton vs AJ Styles headlined the WWE house show in DeKalb Illinois on Saturday night. The match was said to be a great one, as the crowd was clearly into the match.
AJ styles won this time around. So we will have to wait and see if they do the match at Wrestlemania as well.
