AEW Planning Monthly Events Following Double Or Nothing & Weekly TV Beginning In October

Pre-Sale Tickets went on sale earlier today for All Elite Wrestling’s Double Or Nothing event on May 25th from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pre-sale tickets sold out fast, with pre-sale floor seats being gone in less than 30 mins.

This is obviously a tremendous start for AEW, but not much had been known about plans for the company going forward following Double or Nothing. According to a report from Wrestle Talk we have some information concerning AEW’s plans after May. It looks like All Elite Wrestling will begin holding a monthly event, this will all be leading up to the company’s TV Show which is said to begin running weekly in October.

During the Double or Nothing Rally held in Jacksonville, Florida back on January 8th Cody Rhodes announced that AEW would be returning to Jacksonville for a future event. No date was given however for the event.

Here is the reported planned schedule for upcoming AEW events going forward following Double or Nothing in May:

  • May 25 – Double Or Nothing at the MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas
  • June 2019 – Unnamed/Unspecified Event expected to be in held in USA
  • July 2019 – Unnamed show in Jacksonville, Florida. Believed to be Fight for the Fallen which was trademarked, with a portion of the proceeds going to anti-gun crime charities.
  • August 2019 – Royal Albert Hall, London, England
  • September 2019 – All Out – AEW’s official sequel to “All In”. Also expected to be the full launch of the brand prior to TV tapings beginning. While this is not yet confirmed, it is believed that the event will likely take place once again at the Sears Center in Chicago.
  • October 2019 – Launch of AEW’s Weekly television program

While All Elite Wrestling has yet to announce a television deal, it had previously been reported that the company had two deals on the table. It had also been reported that one of the companies that AEW had been negotiating with was Time Warner Cable. AEW Superstar Chris Jericho had also publicly stated that he would not have signed with the company had there not been “a strong TV deal on the table.”
