The feud between Sasha Banks and Ronda Rousey was made interesting as both the Women started referencing the four horsewomen of MMA and WWE. Sasha also referenced them after her loss to Ronda at the Royal Rumble.
However, this was merely a way to fire things up for the eventual match between the four horsewomen of WWE and MMA. There are no plans of it happening anytime soon.
Dave Meltzer on F4Wonline recently talked about this feud and the horsewomen references and confirmed that WWE is not planning this bout anytime in near future. Here is what he said:
“Ronda actually cut a promo about the Horsewomen vs. Horsewomen match [but] right now as far as between now and WrestleMania there is no plans for that. I had asked specifically. but it’s not in the cards the next two pay-per-views right now. It can change, but anyway.”
We will have to wait and see when this feud finally starts.
