All Elite Wrestling Reportedly Close To Signing Four Top Independent Talents

All Elite Wrestling has already put together an impressive core for their roster. The company is still making moves and are expected to have some big announcements planned for their Double Or Nothing Ticket Release Party on February 7th. It also sounds like AEW is about to add four more talents to their roster.

As we reported earlier today Chuckie T and Trent Baretta are finished with New Japan Pro Wrestling, and will wrap up their time with the company this week. It is also believed that the two are expected to sign with All Elite Wrestling, as was reported by Dave Meltzer on today’s episode of Wrestling Observer Radio.

Meltzer also mentioned that there are two other talents that AEW is looking to sign in addition to Tayler & Baretta, one being Kay Lee Ray and the other Sammy Guevara.

“He was working with MLW and MLW had basically made a statement that they’re not using him anymore. He had agreed to dates and canceled dates I guess. He was getting hard to book. They were under the impression that he’s going to AEW and I am under the impression that he is very likely going to AEW as well.”

“Another new name to mention for AEW is whether it’s a done deal or close or whatever is Kay Lee Ray so that’s a couple more people. And Chuck Taylor and Beretta. So we got four new people today.”

AEW is said to be putting a lot of focus and attention into their women’s division. If Kay Lee Ray chooses to sign with AEW over WWE it would be a big addition for the company.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about All Elite Wrestling signing Chuck Taylor & Trent Baretta, Kay Lee Ray, or Sammy Guevara.
