WWE Working To Avoid Spoilers For Upcoming Network Special

WWE often times chooses to pre-record a lot of their events, and as you would expect with modern technology it is virtually impossible for the company to prevent spoilers.

With WWE announcing that they are bringing back their Super Bowl Halftime special “Halftime Heat” for the first-time in 20 years, the company is said to not want there to be any spoilers for the show. According to a report from PWInsider, WWE’s decision to air the event live was made with the direct purpose to avoid spoilers.

Regarding Halftime Heat, Johnson said:

“There is always a chance they can tape the bout at the WWE NXT taping tomorrow, but internally, we hear the company wants to air the match live so there are zero spoilers and its original live content for the Network.”
