WWE Now Apparently Allowing All Elite Wrestling Merchandise On TV

With the launch of All Elite Wrestling recently announced, and the signing of some of wrestling’s top free agents in Chris Jericho, Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Hangman Page and more, it seems like they are poised to try and serve as competition or at least an alternative source of wrestling.

It been reported previously that WWE had told fans to remove their AEW shirts at events, but then changed their mind and allowed fans to enter regardless. Over the weekend it was said that fans at Royal Rumble Axxess meet and greets were asked to tilt their AEW hats up when taking pictures with WWE Superstars. Later that night at the Royal Rumble itself a video surface of WWE staff forcing a fan at ringside to remove his AEW shirt which would have been seen all throughout the night.

Well either WWE has decided to relax their AEW merchandise policy, or they missed one tonight as an AEW shirt was visible at ringside during tonight’s SmackDown LIVE broadcast. This is actually the same exact style shirt featuring AEW’s logo that the fan had to remove at the Royal Rumble and they were sitting in almost the same location in proximity to the ring.

You can see a photo of the fan at ringside tonight wearing his AEW shirt below.
