Dolph Ziggler Talks AEW, Says He Would Be “A Great Addition” To The Company

So far the hottest topic of discussion in the wrestling world in 2019 has for the most part revolved around All Elite Wrestling. The promotion will hold their first wrestling event on May 25th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. AEW’s next function will be on February 7th, as the company will live stream the Double Or Nothing Ticket Release Party, and like their last event this one could hold some surprises and big announcements.

All Elite Wrestling was a brought up during a recent interview Chris Van Vliet conducted with WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler revealed that he feels that AEW is a great thing, and added that he feels that he could be a valuable asset to the newly launched promotion.

Regarding AEW, Ziggler said:

“That is fantastic news. Everyone seems like fans at heart who are coming up with everything going into that company. I don’t know much about it, but everything so far seems like they’re trying to give another option for fans who love wrestling people who want something new.”

“Even if you somehow didn’t like them or didn’t like the idea or are pro WWE, the fact that this is happening may create a little back and forth or may make people step up their game or to give people a second place to go where it’s not the end all, be all. That is so good for competition and business and the Superstars together already that if that become successful and they’re going back and forth then it’s good for everybody. The fans and the wrestlers.”

“I’m saying that in a regular way, but this is an awesome thing to happen and it can only go up and be more positive from here.”

Dolph went on to joke about he he would not be the next big signee that All Elite Wrestling might announce, that he would be THE big signing. Ziggler went on to talk about how he would be a great addition to the company.

“You never know. I think it would be great. I think I’d be a great addition to that company who seems to be for true wrestlers who love the sport and the business. It’s a great idea.”
