As we previously reported it had been leaked that WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey was set to be announced as portraying Sonya Blade for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 video game release.
Rousey was officially announced as taking on the role of Sonya Blade earlier today at Mortal Kombat’s big MK11 Reveal Event.
Ronda Rousey as seen in the video below will be doing voice work for the next Mortal Long at game. Her voice will be for the character Sonya Blade you can read her comments below:
“This is a dream come true. I tried to grow up to be Sonya Blade, as close as I could,” Rousey said, according to the WWE website. “Now instead of being the closest thing I can be to Sonya Blade, I am actually Sonya Blade.”
