NXT TakeOver UK: Blackpool was the first TakeOver special for the NXT UK brand, and expectations were high. Thankfully, was a massive success and defied expectations. It was a night of memorable moments and great matches. The crowd was really into it as well, directing a unique chant towards Vince McMahon.
The chant was the crowd merely asking, “Are you watching Vince McMahon.”
It seems that Vince McMahon has indeed seen the special. He took to Twitter to answer to the crowd’s chants and give his opinion on the show. He kept it short and sweet. But the message was clear.
“Yes, I watched NXT UK TakeOver
Yes, it was awesome.”
It is also interesting to see just how quickly he replied. Perhaps eventually he will understand the difference in quality between RAW and NXT UK and will make better changes accordingly.
