AEW Reportedly Planning To Address Their Women’s Division In Jacksonville Next Week

All Elite Wrestling will be holding a rally in Jacksonville, Florida on January 8th, which also happens to be the same day that WWE will also be in the city for their SmackDown LIVE tapings. The promotion revealed that their first event will be called “Double or Nothing,” and will reportedly take place in Las Vegas, Nevada.

More details are expected to be revealed regarding AEW’s debut event “Double or Nothing,” with other announcements expected to be made, it now seems as though some light has been shed on what one area the company plans to address in Jacksonville on the 8th. According to a report from Diva Dirt, Brandi Rhodes, who was named AEW’s Chief Brand Officer, told them that one area they plan to address will be their Women’s Division.

Currently All Elite Wrestling has two women wrestlers under contract in Brandi Rhodes, who as we have mentioned will also be serving a key role behind the scenes, and AEW’s most recent addition to the Women’s Division, Britt Baker.

Both women were a part of ALL IN, back in September of last year, Baker wrestled in a four-way match against Tessa Blanchard, Chelsea Green, and Madison Rayne. With Blanchard & Green both signing contracts with WWE & IMPACT Wrestling, Madison Rayne remains the only female free agent left from their match at ALL IN.

We will keep you updated when more information regarding AEW’s planned Women’s Division, or other news about All Elite Wrestling becomes known.
