Zack Ryder hasn’t really been popular in WWE for a very long time now. He has his loyal fans, but he still isn’t being used much.
On Oh, You Didn’t Know, Brad Shepard discussed Ryder’s predicament. He revealed that a source told him about one thing that has been keeping Ryder down, and that’s Triple H thinking Ryder doesn’t seem like he can fight. This is what he said:
“They don’t use Zack Ryder, I don’t know what the friggin’ deal is there except for Triple H obviously historically hasn’t been a very big fan of Zack’s.”
“So I was told this a long time ago but Triple H felt like Zack couldn’t handle himself or he didn’t look tough. So hasn’t been high on him in a while now. It’s a political environment and making the right friends matters, let’s face it.”
It seems that Ryder might not get any sort of opportunity in the future. But you never know what can happen in the WWE.
