New Hints Indicating New Wrestling Promotion By Chris Jericho, Jim Ross And The Elite

About a month ago, a rumor was floating around that suggested IWGP Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross and the various members of The Elite would work with a wealthy business owner in order to start a new wrestling promotion.

Until just recently, it was simply a rumor, where the idea was that was that Jericho, Ross, and The Elite had reached out to the Khan family, namely Tony and Shad Khan so that they would help them in creating the wrestling promotion.

So now, it seems that those rumors were in fact, the truth. Even though both Chris and JR had denied the rumors.  Many trademarks have been filed by a company known as All Elite Wrestling, LLC.

The following trademarks were filled by All Elite Wrestling, LLC:

• All Elite Wrestling
• ALL OUT
• Double Or Nothing
• Tuesday Night Dynamite
• AEW
• AEW All Out
• AEW Double Or Nothing

So the promotion will be called ‘All Elite Wrestling’.  It seems there might even be a weekly television deal as implied by ‘Tuesday Night Dynamite’.

According to the trademark filings, the promotion is based out of Jacksonville, FL. That also confirms the rumors about the Khan family being involved.

All Elite Wrestling, LLC is registered to an address at 1 TIAA Bank Field Drive in Jacksonville. That address is also the address of the stadium for the Jacksonville Jaguars. The stadium is owned by Shad Khan.

There also have been talks of The Elite holding more events similar to ALL IN in the future.

While nothing is confirmed yet, this is definitely solid evidence. Stayed tuned for more updates as we get them.
