WWE Reportedly Puts Huge Blow-Off Match Rumored For TLC On Hold

WWE’s next Pay-Per-View will be their TLC event, and it had been rumored that one of the matches planned was to be between Daniel Bryan and The Miz to continue their program that has been going on for years now.

However, Daniel Bryan won the WWE Championship on SmackDown last week when he faced AJ Styles in the main event and went on to face Brock Lesnar this weekend at Survivor Series, which has seemingly changed plans which had previously been rumored to be in place for TLC between Bryan and The Miz.

This was discussed on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, and Dave Meltzer also mentioned that he figures that any plans for the Miz and Daniel Bryan blow-off match has been scrapped.

Regarding their rumored match at TLC, Meltzer said “The Miz and Daniel Bryan’s blow-off was supposed to be on that but I figure that’s like scrapped.”

While there has been no word on what is next for Daniel Bryan going forward, it is expected that he will first have a rematch in place with AJ Styles. There is also no word yet as to whether or not their rematch will take place at TLC, but we should get a more clear picture of the WWE Championship plans going forward this week on SmackDown.
