Kevin Owens had to take some time off in order to have surgeries for his knees. The usual case with WWE is that that around such a time, they have superstars return after Wrestlemania in order to get a bigger pop from fans. But in KO’s case, he just might be returning sooner than expected.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned Kevin Owens’ status, revealing that he would be ready to return before Wrestlemania. This is what he said:
“He’s recovering. There’s nothing really new. Enjoying time with his family I guess, you know? Hopefully, when he comes back he can come back out of nowhere with — he’ll be ready for WrestleMania most likely but will they start a guy in late-February or March and give him a program or what they usually do is this is like the period in November/December where they start lining up the whole WrestleMania card.”
We will have to wait and see how Kevin Owens will be used once he makes his return. One thing is for sure – he will be welcomed back with open arms.
