Update On WWE’s Plans For WrestleMania 35 Main Event Now That Roman Reigns Has Left The Company

WWE will hold next year’s WrestleMania 35 from Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and there are already rumors and reports circulating as to what the main event will be.

Previously we had reported that WWE was planning for Roman Reigns to main event WrestleMania 35, and he had rumored to potentially be working a program with The Rock. Now however, in the wake of Roman Reigns announcement that he has leukemia and his departure from WWE the planned main event is now completely off the table.

It has been heavily rumored that the potential main event being planned for WrestleMania 35 will be a match between Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair. Now according to a new report from our friend Brad Shepard, it indeed appears like WWE is gearing up or the WrestleMania 35 main event to be a match between Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair.

Regarding a potential WrestleMania 35 Main Event match between Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair, Shepard said:

“A source in #WWE on the main event of Wrestlemania 35: “Aside from Rock formally agreeing to do a match, your main event is Ronda vs. Charlotte or a mix of Becky/Charlotte (or both in a triple threat).”
