WWE Might Be Delaying Four Horsewomen Plans Once More

WWE Evolution was a success, which saw great matches all around. That included Shyna Blazer’s match, where she became the NXT Women’s champion for the second time. But that was due to her getting help from Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir who got involved.

Perhaps the story will continue on NXT, and this was a logical way of bringing both of them on WWE television.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained how the four horsewomen vs four horsewomen match might take longer to happen. This is what he said:

“This obviously keeps her on the NXT roster for a while. The thing with Shayna is that she’s 38 so it’s like she’s in good shape and everything but at some point, it’s kind of like — and I know she’s not ready for the main roster. I mean she could be there with Ronda as Ronda’s partner and it would work. But then she’d have to be a babyface and she needs to be a heel and Ronda absolutely doesn’t need to be a heel right now. I mean that would be — not that’s just a bad one. I’m not saying not ever, but not now.”

“So it’s a weird thing. People come up to me like, ‘Oh it’s time to do the 4 Horsewomen’ and it’s like 6 months I would have told you, 3 months I would have told you — but now Ronda needs to be on her own and they can do the other 3 in some form.”

So from what it looks like, the match won’t be happening this year, just like it didn’t last year. Perhaps there might be a chance for it next year. We will have to wait and see how the three arrive on the main roster first.
