Kevin Owens Knee Injury Is Far Worse Than Expected, Will Be Out Longer

Kevin Owens is out from in-ring action following a knee injury which required surgery on both of his knees. Storyline-wise he was taken out by Bobby Lashley but in reality, it had to do with all the damage his knees had taken over the years.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed Kevin’s surgery and said his injuries are worse than expected. This is what he said:

“The damage in his left knee is worse than expected but they’re hopeful late February or early March return. so that’s the timetable for what it is. He didn’t have full-blown reconstructive surgery on either of his knees but it was serious — his left knee especially.”

It looks like he will be back in time for Wrestlemania, which is better than a much later date. We hope he recovers well.
