WWE Responds To Reports Of Superstars Concerns Over Participating In Upcoming Crown Jewel PPV In Saudi Arabia

As we have been reporting, WWE is still planning on holding their upcoming Crown Jewel PPV event in Saudi Arabia on November 2nd.

Sports Illustrated has reported that multiple undisclosed WWE Superstars are unhappy and uneasy about the upcoming Crown Jewel PPV in Saudi Arabia, following the news of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s involvement in the disappearance and death of American Journalist Jamal Khashoggi during what Saudi Officials have said was an interrogation gone wrong.

According to a new report from Wrestling Inc, WWE has apparently responded to questions about how the company feels about their employees and Superstars displeasure and concerns surround the upcoming Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. WWE has said that they are monitoring the situation, and that they always maintain an open line of communication with their performers.

Regarding Superstars concerns over the Saudi Arabia event, a WWE spokesperson stated:

“As always, we maintain an open line of communication with our performers, as we continue to monitor the situation.”
