Major Change Made Two WWE Evolution PPV Matches

WWE’s all-women’s PPV Evolution takes place on October 28th, and previously announced for the card was a match between WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus and former RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss. Also announced for the event was a match between Mickie James and WWE Hall of Famer Lita.

It has also been reported that Alexa Bliss is currently dealing with an injury, which might have factored into a change to her match at Evolution. On tonight’s episode of RAW we saw Trish Stratus come to the ring and respond to the Moment of Bliss promo from last week which saw Alexa talk about “meeting her idol Trish as a child”. Trish’s in-ring promo was interrupted by Alexa Bliss and Mickie James, only to have them challenge Trish stratus to a tag team match at Evolution instead.

Status then introduced her tag partner for Evolution as Lita made her way out and down to the ring as Alexa and Mickie bailed.

So there will no longer be two singles matches between these four Superstars, instead it will now be a tag team match at Evolution.

You can see WWE’s tweets highlighting the segment and match announcement below.
