Since their call up from NXT to the RAW roster, the Authors of Pain have somewhat stagnant in the tag team division. They have been given no real direction or storyline really since their debut, until recently when the team was paid up with 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick, which is an odd decision in it’s own being that the company decided to drop their original manager Paul Ellering upon their arrival to RAW.
On this week’s episode of RAW we saw AOP attack The B-Team following their match against The Revival. According to a report on a recent audio update via PWInsider Elite, Mike Johnson noted that The Authors of Pain will be involved in a feud with The B-Team, thus the reason for the run-in post match on RAW.
