Chris Jericho Reveals He Is Open To Work With U.S. Promotions Other Than WWE “If It’s Creatively Satisfying”

We announced earlier today our new partnership and affiliation with The Wrestling Perspective, which is home to two fantastic podcasts, “The #DuhCast with James Ellsworth” and “The Wrestling Perspective with Impact Wrestling’s Petey Williams”.

On the latest episode of the #DuhCast with James Ellsworth the guys sit down and speak with former WWE Superstar and Current IWGP Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho!

During the interview Jericho was asked about working for other promotions within the United States besides WWE, to which Jericho revealed that if the opportunity was creatively satisfying, something that he could “really sink his teeth into” that he would definitely be open to giving it a shot.

Regarding the possibility of working for a promotion other than WWE in the U.S., Jericho said:

“So when someone says, “Will you ever go to Impact? Would you ever go to Ring of Honor? Would you ever go here or there or whatever?” Yeah, sure. Why not? If it’s creatively satisfying. If it’s something I can really sink my teeth into. Something that I could really enjoy. Then why wouldn’t I give it a shot?”

“At this point I’ve done everything I can do in wrestling. I have a loyalty to WWE but not a death wish with them or anything like that where I’m gonna by hook or by crook I have to be with WWE.”

In previous interviews Jericho had mentioned that he was not open to the idea of working for anyone except Vince McMahon in the United States, but that is no longer the case it seems. Jericho went on to add that the current wrestling market is different than it used to be, and that it’s a whole new world.
