(Segment 1) Carmella, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair Kick Of Smackdown Live: The women mouthed off and went at each other before Paige came out. Paige announced Becky and Charlotte vs Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. Paige sent Carmella to commentary for the match as well.
(Segment 2) Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair vs Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville: This match has been rumored for a couple days and I actually had high hopes for it. Carmella was really annoying on commentary per usual. Becky Lynch made Mandy Rose tap to the DisArmHer. Mandy and Sonya are both growing stars and I see them being big parts of the women’s division in a few months.
(Segment 3) 3 Jobbers vs The Bludgeon Brothers: Nothing to say about this match, 3 jobbers got murdered.
(Segment 4) New Day vs Sanity: I was really looking forward to this match and had high hopes for it. I like how these teams work and the matches they produce. This match added to this night very well and helped pick up the pace of the night going into the second hour. New Day picked up the win on Kofi’s birthday.
(Segment 5) Aiden English vs Andrades ‘Cien’ Almas: This match was either going to be really good or not that great. Almas is a growing star and English still has room to grow. Almas has the tools to be a top star in WWE and be champion. Almas won a quick match getting momentum going into his and Vega’s Summerslam Kickoff Show match against Rusev and Lana.
(Segment 6) Jeff Hardy vs Shelton Benjamin: These two are veterans and will always put on a show because they know the ring inside and out. It sucks that they don’t use Shelton more but it is what it is. Benjamin should be in the US Title picture. Hardy took the win after hitting a weird standing splash. Nakamura then came out to attack Hardy but didn’t work well because Jeff hit him with the Twist Of Fate and then a Swanton Bomb.
(Segment 7) AJ Styles Promo: This was a boring end to Smackdown Live because it was just talking and not that great. It was a very boring ending to Smackdown and didn’t add to the show at all.
