Conflicting Reports Regarding Severity Of Aleister Black’s Injury

There have been varying reports concerning a possible injury to former NXT Champion Aleister Black.

Last week Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Live that Aleister Black may have potentially sustained some type of groin injury. He added that the injury shouldn’t interfere with him appearing at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn.

However, his colleague Dave Meltzer is now reporting differently.

On the Wrestling Observer Message Board located on their website, Dave Meltzer commented on the injury to Black saying that “it’s more serious than that.” Which could indicate that Aleister Black could potentially be pulled from the Triple Threat Match for the NXT Championship against Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa.

We will keep you updated if any more information regarding the injury to Aleister Black becomes known.
