Tonight at the NXT tapings the live audience saw Tommaso Ciampa beat Aleister Black for the NXT Championship. There was a run in by Johnny Gargano which saw him beat up both men. This run in helped Ciampa win the title for the first time.
After the taping of this episode there was a match between Gargano and Black which saw Ciampa interrupt. This caused a no contest and a major brawl between the three. Mr.Regal came out and announced the main event for NXT Takeover Brooklyn, a triple threat match between Gargano, Black, and Ciampa for the NXT Title.
Matt’s Take
I do not think Black will get his title back so that means he will be called up to the main roster, I just hope he isn’t wasted up there like other former NXT stars. The triple threat match is going to be very good and should bring down the house.
