WWE Announce Team Told Not To Mention Vader Or His Passing Last Week On Air

Former WWE Superstar & WCW World Heavyweight Champion Vader passed away recently at the age of 64 after battling numerous major health issues over the course of the last few years.

Many noted that there was no mention of Vader’s passing on last weeks episodes of RAW & SmackDown LIVE. Fans in attendance at RAW pointed out that a video package was shown at the arena remembering the life of Leon “Vader” White, but that it was not shown on television.

It was reported in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE Officials made the decision that announcers were not allowed to bring up Vader, and that nothing was said nor would any video be shown. WWE displayed a graphic at the beginning of the show acknowledging the passing of Vader, but other than that nothing else was mentioned on television regarding his death.
