During a recent audio update via PWInsider Elite, Mike John discusses the situation with former WWE Superstar & Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore. During the segment Johnson points out how the situation with Enzo Amore is completely different from the one between WWE and Rich Swann.
Johnson went on to add that he believes WWE will eventually bring back the former Cruiserweight Champion once Rich Swann has finished serving the company’s penance before eventually Swann will get brought back into the fold.
Regarding Rich Swann’s current status and potential future, Mike Johnson said:
“I think WWE will bring him back at some point. Whenever somebody gets in trouble, WWE has them serve their penance and then they eventually get brought back into the fold. I think that is the process that Rich Swann is in right now. He’s working for Impact but he’s not signing a 5-year contract.”
