This past Tuesday, Smackdown Live acquired former RAW superstar, Samoa Joe in the Superstar Shake Up.
There has been a rumor floating around as to why Samoa Joe was moved to Tuesday Nights.
Per source: Samoa Joe moved to #SDLive to avoid Reigns. The two will have a match soon, however following that, Reigns, as expected, will be running #Raw. As such, Joe wouldn’t be a pivotal part of the show. WWE want him to play a big role — he wouldn’t be on Raw, hence the move.

WWE wants Joe to be in a bigger role than he is now on RAW and feels as if he were to stay on Raw he would not be able to establish that bigger role they want him in.
