Reason Why Jonathan Coachman Was Absent From Tonight’s RAW

As was reported last week, and as you have seen on tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, Jonathan Coachman is not part of the RAW announce team this week. Coach has been replaced by Booker T.. but the move is not a permanent one.

It turns out that the reason Coach is not on RAW this week is because he had other obligations outside of the company.

Jonathan Coachman will be working for the Golf Channel doing play-by-play for the World Long Drive events. The Clash in the Canyon event is scheduled to take place April 23-24 in Nevada.

Once Coach has finished his obligations with The Golf Channel he is expected to return to RAW. Coachman’s deal with WWE allows him to do work like this for The Golf Channel during his time with the company.
