Brock Lesnar’s UFC Return Confirmed
UFC President Dana White appeared on FS1’s UFC Tonight and when the topic of WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar came up he revealed that Lesnar is returning to the UFC.
“Yeah, Brock Lesnar is coming back.. I don’t know when, but yes he is.”
You can check out the comments from Dana White from UFC Tonight embedded in the video below:
Lesnar last appeared for the UFC at UFC 200 in July of 2016 when he was victorious against Mark Hunt, but failed a drug test and the ruling was changed to a “no contest”. Lesnar was suspended for the failed drug test, having only served part of his suspension before “retiring” and returning to WWE. Lesnar must finish the remainder of his suspension before he will be able to fight however.
Lesnar’s WWE contract is set to expire sometime after WrestleMania 34, but there is a clause that will allow WWE to keep him around until August of this year if they choose too.
We will keep you updated if more information regarding Brock Lesnar’s WWE & UFC status becomes available.
