Shane McMahon Gives Update Following Hospitalization For Diverticulitis – WrestleMania Match Still In Question

It was reported earlier today that Shane McMahon has been hospitalized for diverticulitis.

During a recent trip to the Caribbean, Shane McMahon was hospitalized in Antigua due to a massive infection from diverticulitis. Shane was then flown back to New York, where he remains hospitalized and on heavy antibiotics to treat the infection from the diverticulitis. Once the infection has been treated, Shane is said to then need to undergo surgery to repair an umbilical hernia, which they are crediting to the attack from Owens & Zayn two weeks ago on SmackDown.

This clearly puts Shane’s status for WrestleMania 34 in question, as it was speculated today that a new tag team partner for Daniel Bryan would be announced soon.

Shane posted an updated on his official instagram account regarding his health, saying “Thank you everyone for the get well wishes. It truly helps. Im healing up, and I have the best medicine in the world with me.”
