Hulk Hogan To Return To WWE As SmackDown LIVE General Manager?

On today’s episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez was asked about Hulk Hogan possibly returning to the WWE and being named the new SmackDown LIVE General Manager. Alvarez responded by saying that while he doesn’t know for sure, he believes that it is very possible that it could happen.

“I don’t think that it’s impossible that the GM ends up being Hulk Hogan. I mean, he ain’t going to be wrestling. I can tell you that much.”

Alvarez when on to mention that WWE has arranged for Hulk Hogan to appear at the premiere of the Andre the Giant HBO Documentary in Los Angeles, California this coming Thursday. This appearance will mark the first for the company since 2015. This could possibly be WWE’s way of re-introducing Hulk Hogan back with the company, giving him a platform to apologize for the remarks he made in the leaked sex tape to help smooth things over with sponsors.

Alvarez continued by noting that Shane McMahon has been diagnosed with diverticulitis and that he will be out of the picture as an Authority Figure on SmackDown LIVE.

We will keep you updated if any more information about a possible WWE return for Hulk Hogan becomes available.
