Exclusive: Update on Bam Bam Bigelow’s WWE Hall of Fame Status

BodySlam.net Managing Editor Brad Shepard first reported the original list of names in December of 2017 for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2018.

Goldberg, Ivory, the Dudley Boyz and Kid Rock have all been announced by WWE as being inducted.  The only name yet to be announced from the original list is Bam Bam Bigelow.

Recently, I spoke with a source in WWE to discuss Bigelow’s status for the hall of fame this year and unfortunately for his fans, it may not be good news.

The source indicated to me that they have not heard his name mentioned since they first received the original hall of fame list, which is unusual.  They also mentioned how Mark Henry, Hillbilly Jim and Jeff Jarrett were later added, after not being on the original list.  My source said they must assume based on this information that Bam Bam is no longer going into the hall of fame this year.  Why that would be the case is not clear, however, they did speculate that he could be inducted next year instead, during WrestleMania 35 weekend, in his home state of New Jersey.

If this were to change, it would have to be soon, as WrestleMania 34 is on April 8th.
