No Plans For A Fatal 5-Way Match For The Intercontinental Title At WrestleMania

On today’s Wrestling Observer Live, while taking calls Bryan Alvarez was asked about the claim by Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso that WWE is planning on booking a Fatal 5-Way Match for the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 34, which would see The Miz defend against Braun Strowman, Elias, Seth Rollins, and Finn Balor.

Alvarez answered by saying that as of Monday there were no plans for a Fatal 5-Way Intercontinental Title Match. Alvarez did mention however that he has heard rumors of a possible ladder match for the IC Title, and that they could easily add Strowman & Elias to that. He added that the plan as of Monday was still for The Miz vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor for the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 34.

“They could easily add the other guys. I have heard that they talked about having a ladder match.” said Alvarez.
