Which NXT Stars Might Be Called Up To Main Roster Following WrestleMania?

With WrestleMania 34 right around the corner, speculation has already begun over which NXT Superstars will receive their main roster call up following WWE’s annual event.

Historically speaking, WWE has brought up developmental talents to the main roster following Wrestlemania or other major ppv’s. Typically the greatest number of call-up debuts happen the night after WrestleMania on Raw or the night after that on SmackDown. Last year saw Shinsuke Nakamura, Tye Dillinger, and The Revival (Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson) all make their debuts on the main roster the nights following Wrestlemania 33.

Top NXT developmental talent candidates to receive a main roster call up this year are:

– The Authors of Pain (Akam & Rezar w/ Paul Ellering)

– SAnitY (Eric Young, Nikki Cross, Alexander Wolfe & Killian Dain)

– Johnny Gargano

– Roderick Strong

– The Iconic Duo (Billie Kay & Peyton Royce)

– No Way Jose

With WWE making numerous call-ups from NXT during the third and fourth quarters of last year, there is a very good possibility that WWE decides to cut back the number of talents brought up this year. Recently Hideo Itami, Buddy Murphy, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, Ruby Riott, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Mark Andrews, and Asuka were all called up to WWE’s main roster, so it wouldn’t be surprising if fewer talents are brought up from developmental following this year’s WrestleMania.
