Vince McMahon Is No Longer In Charge Of 205 Live; Major Changes Planned

According to a new report by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE COO Paul Levesque (AKA: Triple H) has taken over duties of overseeing 205 Live from WWE CEO Vince McMahon in the latest effort to to improve the product.

The change took place last week, during the episode where the tournament to crown a new Cruiserweight Champion first began.

McMahon has been working directly with the superstars of 205 Live to improve their personalities, and believed 205 Live should be a character-driven show.  That belief was a major factor behind Enzo Amore being the central focus of the show while he worked in WWE.

Levesque is bringing back the focus on the athletic in-ring presentation that we saw during the Cruiserweight Classic on the WWE Network.

The head writer for 205 Live is Jonathan Baeckstrom and the head producer is Adam Pearce.  Baeckstrom and Pearce will both work closely with Levesque on the new presentation of the product.
