WWE Releases Enzo Amore

WWE.com has announced the following news, WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore has been released.

WWE has come to terms on the release of Eric Arndt (Enzo Amore).

The announcement of Enzo’s release comes on the heels of a Twitter user by the name of @MissGucciWitch accusing the former WWE Superstar of rape.

The story is allegedly connected to Tyler Grosso, a former member of the infamous hip hop collective A$AP Mob and self-proclaimed “fashion mogul”, who has been accused by numerous individuals of running a scam operation disguised as a clothing brand. Philomena responded to one of Grosso’s recent tweets claiming, “You set up girls to get raped by your WWE friends aka [Enzo Amore].”

Enzo Amore signed with WWE back in 2012, and made his TV debut on the NXT brand in May of 2013. During his time in NXT, Amore was a one-time Tag Team of the Year winner along with his partner Big Cass. Amore and Cass made their WWE main roster debuts the night after WrestleMania 32, on Raw, and the two later split to pursue singles careers.

Amore is a two-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion, and in 2017 he was ranked number 110 in Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s top 500 male singles wrestlers of the year.
