Impact Wrestling Officials Unhappy With Rockstar Spud Over Leaving Company To Sign With WWE

On yesterday’s edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that IMPACT Wrestling Officials are not happy with former employee Rockstar Spud over his decision to leave their company and sign with WWE.

Apparently Rockstar Spud was having serious issues with his visa which was preventing him from working dates in the United States. Impact/Anthem apparently spent a lot of money helping Spud resolve these issues with his visa, which it should be noted occurred during the “Dixie Carter Era” due to an error on Impact’s part with his paperwork. The company spent approximately $20,000 helping Spud out, two weeks after the issue was resolved he asked for his release from the company.

As has been previously reported Rockstar Spud is expected to debut next week on 205 Live along with Hideo Itami.
