WWE Potentially Making Big Change To WrestleMania Plans

The road to WrestleMania is almost upon us, and for months we have been hearing about rumored matchups for this years event.

One matchup that has been discussed and is probably one that fans want to see the most, is the match that was originally scheduled for Survivor Series but was put off due to injury, and that is Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey. With Rousey scheduled to face Sasha Banks at the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV, it could indicate that WWE has once again changed their minds about the direction they’re going for WrestleMania.

On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talks about the potential WrestleMania 35 matchup and mentions that it now looks as though Charlotte Flair might be placed into another three-way match with Becky Lynch.

Regarding a potential three-way match at WrestleMania, Meltzer said:

“It’s not official that it’s gonna be a three-way at WrestleMania, it sure seems that way, yes. I was told it’s not official, it’s under consideration and because it’s under consideration the decision was made to pull the match from the Royal Rumble. Which means they’re leaning toward it.”

Of Course with a couple of PPV’s between the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 35, there is always room to make changes. Meltzer pointed out that there is always the chance that WWE books Charlotte and Rousey in a match at the Elimination Chamber or Fastlane if WWE once again changes their mind.

We will keep you updated as we hear more information about potential WrestleMania match ups.
