It is a guarantee that All Elite Wrestling will be all the wrestling world can talk about for long time, with more details about the promotion to be revealed during the Double or Nothing Rally in Jacksonville on January 8th.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Tony Khan of The Khan Family who owns the Jacksonville Jaguars will be the boss of All Elite Wrestling.
Meltzer also gave hints that Chris Jericho might be involved with Khan in running the promotion.
“Tony Khan, who is the son of Shahid Khan is the head of the company,” said Meltzer.
“So he will be the guy running the company. I think Chris Jericho had that picture at the Jacksonville Jaguars game. He put that picture up, obviously, for a reason. He’s not signed, if he was signed I’d tell ya but he’s not signed right now.”
Meltzer noted that Jericho has been on AEW’s radar for a long time, and that is no secret. We will have to see if Jericho does sign a deal with AEW.
