WWE’s Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View is one of the most anticipated and popular events of the year, and also officially kicks off “the road to WrestleMania”. The event is usually packed full of surprises and excitement as the WrestleMania picture begins to take shape.
The upcoming WWE Royal Rumble PPV was recently discussed by Bryan Alvarez on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Live. Alvarez talked about what he has been hearing as far as plans for the event go.
“The Royal Rumble plans that we heard about in November-ish, I mean, those are already changing and over the next, I’d say probably two weeks we’re going to know a lot more about that.”
“That might play into changes at WrestleMania for the other title, so we shall see. I would say that right now nothing at this point is set in stone.”
“I was told this weekend that 80% of the Royal Rumble has been booked. There might be a couple of surprises in the Rumble match which is hardly news and we’ll see what happens as far as the top championship matches on that show.”
