During SmackDown Live’s New Year’s Day episode of the show which was pretaped, The New Day came out and cut a fun promo.
In the process, it was announced that all members of The New Day will be participating in the Royal Rumble.
While some participants are usually announced backstage, The New Day wanted to make it clear they were taking part. Their addition should make the match more interesting. Especially Kofi Kingston, who has had many memorable moments in the Royal Rumble match.
