Shane McMahon addressed the SmackDown locker room during the opening of this week’s episode of Smackdown Live. McMahon talked about the New Era starting off in the WWE and said he would introduce new matches and give opportunities.
Shane then asked Paige to come up to the stage and referred her as the ”former” General Manager.
McMahon also made it clear that Paige is not going anywhere but her role has changed. Paige then received a “Thank You Paige” chant from the locker-room.
