Baron Corbin abused his power as Raw General Manager on this week’s Raw. He made Heath Slater and Rhyno face off, where the loser would be fired.
Rhyno would beat Slater around for a while. But then Slater would beat Rhyno suddenly, in what was a short match of two minutes. Thus Rhyno was fired.
But it didn’t seem all too good for Slater either. Corbin would hand Slater referee shirt backstage and told him that he is now a referee. So Raw effectively lost two superstars.

During the commercial break after this bout, Rhyno cut a short promo to the live crowd and announced his retirement from wrestling.
