Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir comprise of MMA’s 4 Horsewoman along with Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler. Duke and Shafir were the last ones to sign a deal with WWE. With all four of them being in WWE together, things will go in an interesting direction.
In their first televised match on NXT, their first opponents were none other than Dakota Kai and Io Shirai.
This further builds the storyline which started back in TakeOver: WarGames, where Io and Dakota saved Kairi Sane from Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir and Shayna Baszler. So it seems they will be feuding until they have a big match at NXT TakeOver: New York, which will be before Wrestlemania next year.
Kairi Sane wasn’t there due to her still suffering from a viral infection. We hope she recovers soon enough so that she can join in the fray.
