Rhea Ripley squared off against Toni Storm in the finals of the tournament, to become the first-ever NXT UK Women’s Champion. This was actually taped back in the summer.
There was a post-match celebration with Triple H and NXT UK General Manager Johnny Saint presenting the title to Ripley, with the locker room seeing her. The crowd chanted “Women’s wrestling”, ”you deserve it”. It was an emotional moment for Rhea.

She will be defending her title against Toni Storm at the first-ever NXT UK TakeOver at Blackpool on January 12th.
