Wrestling promotion Canadian Wrestling Elite has been making waves in the greater north for a while now. Just recently expanding into the USA with a show in Minnesota this year. They are known to mix local talent with legends, as was the case with the Minnesota show when they brought in ‘The Enforcer’ Arn Anderson.
While on a recent tour in their native land of Canada. CWE booked Brutus ‘The Barber’ Beefcake as their legend. Some legends as it turns out can’t be trusted, while soon to be legends are showing that they can. In the tweet below you can see that Jimmy Jacobs filled in for Brutus, who after being paid upfront decided to no show the rest of the events.
And a special thanks to Brutus Beefcake for getting paid up front then skipping out on the last few days of the tour, thereby allowing me to fill in as a last minute replacement and have a blast these past three days returning to @CWECanada https://t.co/LQojTcOz1E

It sucks that wrestling can still be carny, but it’s gratifying to know that the next generation is still willing to make the towns and show that they care about their fans.
